the hotel has beautiful and traditional decor that feels modern too. loved the comfy superior double room and nice access to the garden. breakfast was delicious and a great deal, staff were super friendly and helpful. the smart tv in my room was a surprise! overall, it has a lot of charming historical character.

only two things, the restaurant was closed for cleaning when i wanted dinner and the spa facilities were a bit limited.

During my stay, I enjoyed the good indoor swimming pool and the relaxed atmosphere in the bar. I appreciated the friendly staff who were always ready to help when needed. The food was remarkable in the restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise for someone who usually opts for chain hotels.

I found the room layout awkward, especially the high soap dispenser that made it hard to use. The bed did not meet my comfort needs as it felt too firm.
